Yeah, no real need, but every product we manufacture comes with a lifetime warranty, so better safe than sorry...

Are you guys the same Scotts Hot rods that built the 2008 "americas most beautiful roadster"? i think it was a 32 ford roadster.

Sorry, just got some pics uploaded yesterday.

Here you can see exactly how far it'll hang below the frame; unfortunately there's not an installed on in the shop right now, but I'll see if I can dig up some pics of one.

Yes that's us. We are building a radical roadster to compete this year, as well as we have projects that are being built to compete for Street Machine Of The Year and others.

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

I noticed on the site you can get it without the booster/master. If so, how much for the bracketry?

Also, any consideration of a group buy for the members here? Hey somebody's gotta ask

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

I see thats a 7 inch booster, will that be enough to adequately stop the truck? I will have disc brakes on all 4 corners ( hopefully 13 inch rotors). If so count me in for a group buy if available!

how you gonna get a group buy if you don't ask, LOL...

let me double check pricing on just the pedal assembly with no master cylinder (gotta ask the boss); but as far as a group buy, I'd be game. I look at group buys like shows. lower the price to sell in bulk

I'll post up a price in a bit

1-1/8 bore master cylinder, dual diaphragm booster; absolutely plenty enough to stop your truck.

I'm working on some pricing for you guys right now.

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

Thanks for the pics. How far is the top of the booster to the floor pan? The reason I ask is from the pics, it looks like the whole assembly can move up. Is there any solution to us guys that lay frame?

Installed pics would be great- it would answer a BUNCH of questions I have, like:

- How does it affect exhaust clearance?
- Is there room to service the master once installed, or would there need to be an access panel?
- How is the pedal arm sealed at the floor?

This would be nice for the Blazer...

Looks like there is room to move it up, but that would also affect pedal placement/geometry...

This is what I was wondering as well.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

same thing i was thinking scoti, i think this assembly will work for most people who are not laying the frame on the ground (like me), but looks like you could get very low and not drag it.

for guys that are laying frame this can work, but a few mods are necessary. Mainly, the whole assembly should move up an inch or so to flush out the booster. For obvious reasons, the floor pan in that section would need to come up a bit. Also, the bracket will then need to be welded in instead of bolted. But in that case, we offer a weld in unit already. It looks just like this one.

for the most part, if you have a special need, just let us know. We can make whatever you need to work for your application.

Sorry, I don't think I have any good installed pics. I looked over the weekend.

To answer you questions though..

-Exhaust clearance is not an issue if you look at the picture of the weld in, it is sitting in a stock chassis, in essentially the same location. there is enough room between the factory crossmembers, the driveline, and the booster to run exhaust.

-typically service is handled one of two ways. You can either run a remote reservoir on the firewall, or you can create an access panel in the floor. In my last truck that had a frame mount pedal assembly I had an access panel. It was super easy and hidden under the carpet.

- sealing it at the floor is easiest wtih a small rubber boot of some sort. Normally I take a piece of 1/8" urethane rubber ( about 2"x2") and slot it to fit around the arm. secure that to the floor under the carpet, and then slot the carpet and insulation to fit snug to the pedal arm also.

-Yes, you can move it pretty much anywhere you want. the only thing that will be effected is where the brake pedal ultimately ends up. no geometry issues will come up because the pedal and bracket are all one unit.

Doh . . .... I didn't consider that.

I have special needs!

Can your weld in bracket be modified (by me) to bolt in? My frame is already powder coated and I really do not want to weld on it.

What is the price on the weld in piece? (just the bracket and peddle assembly)

What exactly comes with it? Any accessories like fittings, the rubber grommet you were talking about, foot pedel, etc??

No problem at all making it a bolt in, and for that matter, simply buy the bolt in, and redrill the bracket holes to suit you. the Weld in is only about $30.00 less than the bolt in, and without the master cylinder/booster we take off $60.00.

We do have everything else in stock, i.e, pedals, residual pressure valves, prop valves, etc.

I talked to the boss, and he said I could do it a few different ways.

for you guys I can take off 10% right away, so instead of $425.00 you're looking at $382.50

On a group buy price, I can do a minimum of 5 @ $350.00

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

I will be the first one to say I'm in. Just want to make sure of a couple more things. So for $350.00 (5 min group by price), we get booster, MC, and bracket which includes the pedal assembly? Is the booster and MC assembled as a unit or will it need to be put together? I can't remember if you already answered this but is the MC for 4 wheel disk? (I just re-read that you did answer a YES to this question)
