custom interiors for 67 chevy panel burban???

I am working on my '67 panel...I have built a custom headliner and was looking at making an overhead console and possibly one between the bucket seats to extend to the back seat. Any ideas??? or pix???:

An overhead console that extended into the back seat would pretty sweet. I used my suburban for work and all sots of junk rolling around. It was a PITA picking it all up.

I have a 68 panel I'm playing with. I had also thought about the overhead console, and a drop down dvd screen for the rear seat folks. Maybe put a cd player in the overhead console, but the 8-track sounds so good.

Here's a couple of pics I had saved on my hard drive. No overheads though.

Here is a link to a guy I met, he makes these himself, if the link does not work, cut and paste. He sells over heads and ones for bucket seats as well as bench seats, very reasonable prices. Hope this helps.....

TrapperJack

That sounds alot like what I'm thinking. I have made some customs door panels and kicker panels with speakers in them. I'm working on the headliner and that is why I was thinking of the overhead console. My son likes playing his video games so I was thinking how to put all of this in there. RIght now I have new model chevy split seats in the front and then for the second seat I have a older model split seat.

A work in progress? I'll try to down load some photos later on this site.

Not my truck - but here's a '72 with a mildly customized overhead console from a '95-'99 Suburban; aftermarket DVD player/screen mounted right behind it.

The one in front is from a 90+ Chevy truck.

Actually looks exactly like the one in my '99.
