Yes, I put a set of Hella H4 E code headlights in mine. I also added relays to the wiring. Huge difference in light output but not cheap. The stock headlights are absolutely pathetic.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I've heard that the LED's are not much better (maybe even worse) than stock headlights. The ones I've seen seem to just put the light directly out in front and not project to a distance.

Another option would be making your own projectors but that would require a lot of fabrication.

These housings are not very common and were only used on a few models. The Camaro's and Firebird's used this size housing as well as the Jeep Cherokee Limited's and that's about all that comes to my mind.

Re: anyone upgrade their headlight on a 91 blazer k5?

I'm not sure those headlights will fit your 91 K5. I believe they are 150mm by 92mm or 5.9 inches by 3.6 inches roughly. The ones I have are made by Bosch and use Hella H4 bulbs, P/N HL21001

I wired up my own relays but you can buy the kit also.

Re: anyone upgrade their headlight on a 91 blazer k5?

LED headlamps use to struggle with throw, but it's not the case now. They've closed the gap and exceeded HID and Halogen. I currently run Hella HIDs on my Jeep (same 7" round hole as the Blazer). I just installed a set of Lightforce 215mm LED flood lights. It's laughable how much more light the LEDs are capable of producing compared to the HIDs. As for the '91 headlamps. I'm not sure about the options out there. The 7" rounds are so great for options.

Did you install these LEDs in place of the stock headlights? Are they legal to use? Do other drivers get blinded? Here are the specs. Wish they weren't so expensive.

Power: 108 W
Raw lumens: 7794

The big driving light (sorry, I said floods) are not legal. You'd kill people.

Raw lumens won't really tell you a bunch.

Swap to a base model core support and run JW Speaker 8900's.
