"new" truck

Traded my Impala for this 02 Silverardo 2wd. I plan on losing the tails for some stock ones and taking off the chrome fender trim.

Re: "new" truck

Looks good to me, I agree about the tails and fender trim... not my style either.

Re: "new" truck

Looks pretty good -- I think step one and step two are the same things I'd do. I'd go to a set of 03+ tails...and I think a set of the newer LTZ wheels would look great with that color combo.

Is it a 5.3?

I've already traded the "euro's" for a set from an 04 GMC I'll post up pics when I take some.

I kinda like the the stock chrome wheels I'm going to run them for a while til something comes along

Yup it's a 5.3 auto with a G80

Re: "new" truck

Welcome to the other side!! Good looking truck! I've been loving mine. Almost don't miss the OBS anymore.

Your plans sound good. Don't forget to add a suspension drop to those plans.

No drop! Come on, just a little. Definitely level if nothing else. Keep us updated.

Re: "new" truck

*ducks* I actually like the chrome wheel trim, I think it looks good on the 2wd trucks.

The 4x4's looks cool with the stock fender flares.

But yes, those taillights are terrible.

Re: "new" truck

Well in my wifes words "broke it to the white truck" thats there's another truck at the house (the OBS is parked in another garage)

I also took off that awful fender trim and swapped out the tails.

Fender trim gone:

Well it's parked back in its garage under a cover with a battery tender hooked up.
