Question Any suggestions?

So when i put the oak bed in the back of my truck i ordered new bed strips for it and i sanded them down and painted them with a roll on bed liner, but they are peeling like mad so i have to redo them but i don't know what would be the easier way, take them all out and just re assemble the bed when there done, or take one out at a time and leave the oak in, or mask off all the oak sand, primer an repaint them just where they are..

Im stuck as to which would be easier

Re: Any suggestions?

take the strips off you might be able to leave your wood there . sand down your strips . put primer and sand down and paint to match your truck,
