New fuel line
I am going to have to install an inline fuel filter now that I have eliminated my quadrajet. Will 3/8" fuel rubber hose work with any inline filter work?? Should I use regular hose clamps or is there something that looks nicer out there??
I bought a new stock fuel pump, and would like it to look nice going into my new polished holley!

Hose clamps will work just fine. I made the mistake of going all AN fittings heater hose , tranny cooler fuel lines. Man, that sure hurt the wallet. but I like the look of them. It all depends how much you are willing to spend. There are companies that make billet clamps too. If you want the info, Let me know. I'll be more than happy to share it with you.

Temporarily I have 3/8" fuel proof black hose with regular hose clamps. That will do me for now...

you can go to any motorcycle shops and buy braided fuel line.i get mine for about 1.50 a foot

here's my alum inline filter (not glass) just unscrew it...
clean the brass filter put'r back in

It is perfectly safe to do so, and if you keep the rubber hise length under 12 inches (or is it 6 inches) then it'll even be NHRA legal.

Personally I like the see through lass fuel filters. Then I can see if it's getting dirty and I can see the fuel flow while diagnosing problems. I use the factory hard lin with a little rubber hose to install the filter.

I too like the glass ones. you just have to use your head when installing it. You ned to make sure there is NO WAY it can come in contact with ANYTHING.

I bought the chrome one that is disposable. The housing and filter are one unit.

the chrome metal one is best if ya do any off road driving or places where ya could have a glass one busted i forget the number but ive used the one that was standard on a dodge for miine and its worked out great

I used the spectre kit at schmuck's.. I was a braided hose with a nice little billet filter. I have not installed it as of yet though...

I use a Wix #33003 (NAPA # may be 3003) clear plastic 3/8" fuel filter.
