Re: Post Your Favorite Pics of Our Trucks
All those multi-colored trucks remind me of one of my friend's cars ('55 Bel-Air 2DHT) that we used to cruise on Van Nuys Blvd with. He didn't get many people to race against him. It was only an over-bored 265 with FI heads and a 30-30 Duntov cam with the valve lash adjusted to .008 and .012. Rumptier idle and better top end. All he had to do was rotate the front end up (all welded fenders and hood, pillow blocks in the front) to where people could see the "Corvette" valve covers. It only had one WCFB Carter on it! It wasn't anywhere near as fast as his '62 Grand Prix with the tri-power and a four speed.
