Re: Looking for a Fiberglass Dash

Never seen any for sale but it would be pretty easy to glass and paint your stock dash

Re: Looking for a Fiberglass Dash

I am in the middle of completely fibreglassing my stock dash. It has been a long process with many layers of glass but it is looking sweet. I can't wait to see it finished and painted. Now I'm thinking I might have to do the door panels as well..... more work!

Re: Looking for a Fiberglass Dash

I have search quite a bit and cannot find fiberglass replacement dash's for these truck's, VFN makes em for some car's . I would thin if you don't wanna glass your's yourself you could find someone to do it for a decent price localy. I am gonna get a dash from a junk yard and try to glass it my self when I get home.
If you do find premade glass dash please post a link on here .

Re: Looking for a Fiberglass Dash

LOL...yeah I still have "your" Cafe Racer if you still have "my" cash...lol I'm actually about to bring the bike back up to Flat 12 Gallery on 34th, and leave it on display for the winter.

I wouldnt mind you having a look at the dash, just cant do it right now, garage is trashed messy, you can barely get to the doors of the truck...gotta clean up this weekend I hope. I will let you know when you can drop by.

Re: Looking for a Fiberglass Dash

I'm just in the planning stages of a new interior for my '85 (again) and I'll be building a new dash from a combination of metal, fiberglass, and MDF. Hard part is getting everything I want to fit in there... HVAC, gauges, switches, the list goes on...

If you want to do a custom, one-off piece, I strongly suggest a great deal of planning and expect to spend a great deal more than anticipated lol
