Anyone have a Avalanche?

I'm going Sunday to look at a 02 4x4 Chevy Avalanche. Anybody know anything I should look out for? Thanks for any help, Randy

Re: Anyone have a Avalanche?

I have an '02 Z71...Really nice ride. Gets about 13.5 MPG. I think the main thing to look for is water leaks around the back window/midgate. You could try test driving it through a car wash to check for any leaks.
Check out www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com Once you figure out the layout with all the sub categories, it is a pretty good site.

Re: Anyone have a Avalanche?

If it's anything like the trucks---front brake anti lock sensor rust, steering column intermediate shaft knock, A/c & heater air leak on pass side, heater control activator failure, water pump gaskets leak or the pump its self leaks out the weap hole, radio lights fail after a couple of years, transmission failures---and to think someone claims Chevy should be "truck of the year"???
