nice truck… keep after it, summer will be here pretty soon.
Thanks! Bodywork is very slow and tedious! I go out and work on it for 5 hours and it looks exactly the same! Can't waIt to get some primer down to feel like I have actually done something!

Re: 1964 Chevy K10 Build

Yeah, I know the feeling. lol I'm doing school and working afternoons to evenings plus Saturdays so I have a super tight schedule. lol Then I work full time during the summer when school gets out and less weekends so I finally have 2 days to work on the truck.

Re: 1964 Chevy K10 Build

Finally able to get out and work for a few hours. Fixed a rusted out corner in the driver side door. I popped the spot welds out in the corner, then cut out the outer door skin. Then I cut out the inner part of it. I have a donor door so I did the exact same thing on the donor door and took the inner part and welded that in. Then I welded the outer skin from the donor on the door. Finally I bent the folds that were spot welded back over and welded those. Not being able to work on her is killing me! We need more hours in the day!

Lots of progress bing made, it all takes time on these older trucks. You will have a great truck when done, not many 4x4 still around. Have spent time in Ogden, family their.

Nice build ! I am building a 65 SB 4x4 BBW just a few miles from you. I've seen this truck for sale before on KSL.com. Did you recently purchase it ?

Nice ! It looked like a real solid truck from the ad. Pretty rare here in Utah theses days. No I wish I had an original frame. Its been a lot of work building mounts. It's on a 75 frame with 3/4 ton axles. I am hoping to finish it this year. Here's an older picture of mine

I am getting there. New bed sides & tailgate. I've shaved the chains and installed a tailgate handle on the inside as well as a roll pan with a bumper. I've owned it for a long time but getting serious about completing it. I actually live in Lehi but store/ working on the truck in AF, which makes it harder to get things done. I am taking an auto painting class at UVU this semester so it should be painted by April ! Looks like you have a nice shop to work in. Are you going to do the vintage plates or regular ?
