Well our prototypes finally made it here. Classic Heartbeat's gas filler grommets come with a LIFETIME WARRANTY and will not crack, chalk, or otherwise degrade like the other reproductions. Now all I have to do is to test fit them in a truck. If I give the approval, we should have them in about 6 weeks. Price will be $9.95. WES

Well the preliminary fitment went well. Looks great to me. The fill neck was nicely sealed too. Only problem is the fill neck was a reproduction plastic neck, so I need an original steel one to be sure. Let me know how you think it fits. If it looks correct to you..

My replacement one is comical. There is more crack than rubber. I never should have taken out the original.

Factory filler necks are steel through 63. 64 and up were plastic. The neck you tested may be the real deal.

This is fitment part 2. This time both prototypes with an original steel filler neck. I tried to get good close ups. Please, I would like your opinions. Once I approve these they will go into production. So if there is a problem now is the time... WES
