Re: Blue Anodized Hubs

Hey Sand Wrench, StruttinSoul my machinist buddy is not a fan of the 1/2 ton ones. He said the setup takes too long and unless I order a large quantity he is reluctant to make them. I have talked him to making them in the past but it is becoming tougher. The other issue is if I order a huge quantity I want to make sure that I can sell them in a reasonable amount of time.

I would love a pair of 1/2 ton. IF you could get him to make a few more. I would pay a little more to help out.

I thought only Ford's came with red ones. It is possible but, the cost to anodize them is the same whether you do one set or 50 sets at least at the place where I take my parts. Also the shade of red that they have is not very red at all and is actually more of a burgundy. Yours is not the first request for red ones but most want them blue.
Another option is to sell some with no anodizing at all and let the individual get their own anodized in the color of choice.
