axle shim,3" lift?

Is it necessary to axle shim with a 3 inch lift?

I think you can get away without one... Although it would not hurt to get one.
Personally I would shim it if you have it apart. Make sure to run metal shims, I think mine were $45 and change to my doorstep. I can't remember what degree of shim I used for a 5" overall lift, so you may have to do a little bit of researching to figure that one out.

My 2" lift needed 3 degrees.
