Great, just friggen great! Plugged evaporator core
Wife's 99 Tahoe ( I know, I'll put here anyway) needed a new blower motor so I did that yesterday. While it was out I shined a flashlight around inside the heater case. The evaporator is full of debris. It looks like broken leaf pats all wedged in there real good. This explains why she is complaining of low air flow. It calls for about 6 hours to do the evaporator core. You gotta pull the dash.
Has anyone had any luck blasting shop air through it? I could remove the bottom of heater case like you do for a heater core job and get at the back side.

Do a search, someones been through this for sure.
Shove the shop vac hose in there while blowing compressed air in through the condensate drain. |
