Here's my 66 work in progress

Hey everyone,
Bought this on eBay back in October and had it shipped to Wisconsin. Had the inline 250 with a 3 speed auto. Since then I've pulled the drive train and am putting in a SBC 400, 200-4R transmission and an S-10 rearend. The previous owner did the paint (not real well) but included the 5x5 disc conversion for the front with a 2" drop. It's a work in progress with a deadline of March 1st when the lease on my Ram is up and this becomes my daily driver.

Nice Suburban, I am not to far from you and also working on a 66 Burb, let me know if you need anything. If you want to get rid of the aluminum slots, let me know.

Diggin them ol skool slots & th '63'? '64'? slab wagon! Is the cad bod by Superior coach? In '71' I bought a '66' cad hearse & drove it thru high school, I hit 135 mph in it. Been a long time since I rode thru Sheboygan Falls, beautiful town. How bout smor pics of the burb interior & under hood?

Re: Here's my 66 work in progress

The hearse is a 63 Miller Meteor. Had it up to 80 and that was pretty wound out. Has a freshly rebuilt motor but i have the interior out of it including floors and dash so it's a lawn ornament for the time being. I'll get a few pics of the progress hopefully today. Got the brakes done and the 400 is "in".
