WTD u bolt saddles for a 1959

Hi, looking for u bolt saddles for a 55t 1959 rear end. I think the part # is 3711650. I would have posted in the parts section but the site didn't allow me too do so. This is a picture of the part type I would need but not the proper size. If someone has a set I could buy that would be great.Name: IMG_7517.jpg

The site doesn't allow you to post parts requests or items for sale in classifieds or on here (not at all here) if you are not a paid supporting member.

I know of no one who sells that item new.

Are you opposed to just using u-bolts and and a top plate? Or are you trying to be period correct?

I think by the other threads he has he is trying to take a truck that has been modified and had changes and change it back to show room stock.

Re: WTD u bolt saddles for a 1959

I would like it period correct but I still need to get the shock brackets on as well.If I can't get the saddles I may have no choice. I still can't believe Iam having such a hard time finding these oem saddles as most people change there rears out. Iam willing to pay.

Re: WTD u bolt saddles for a 1959

There were two different axles that year from what I understand. One was the dana 45 and the 55t. the dana 45 was 2 3/4 inch thick and the 55t rear was 3". I changed from the dana 45 to the 55t. this is why I need the other saddles to fit the 55t.
