breeh------!!! pictures of your truck

Hey breeh,

i have a '71 stepside 4x4 and i am thinking about lifting it 4" with 33" tires. your truck is the only stepside( that i ve seen) that has this combo. could you please post some pictures of your truck so i could get a idea of what it's going to look like. that would be so helpful because i am stuck between getting a 2" and 33" or a 4" and 33" or a 4" and 35". thanks in advance

I will try and get some new shots this weekend. I haven't put it to the test yet but from what I have read you get maximum stuff factor with 33's. 35's can jam in some super articulation situations. I don't know from experience if this is true but I didn't want to have to buy tires twice.

If your mostly doing street driving, 35's & 4" lift should be fine. Keep in mind the off-set and the wheel width. I have heard a lot of guys having problems with the lugs on swampers hitting the fenders even with 6" lift.

I've got 35" BFG's with a 2 in lift. Ofcourse you can't be shy with the sawzall. My Favorite for a daily driver is 6" with 35" tires.

I went up to collect some rock from some slide areas to build a sidewalk for the little lady and grabbed some photos for those that were asking. I figure mountain rock should work fine.
