turbo 350 tailshaft seal ?

I had to replace the tail shaft bushing on my 78 turbo 350 and got all my parts before hand but I,m wondering if they gave me the wrong seal,it does slide over the yoke . The one I took out looks like pic #1 and the one they gave looks like pic #2 . Lots on new young parts guys lately ,not there fault just no training. All the old guys are retiring. A little RTV silicone around the edge if I remember right .

The part number I find for the correct part is 9613S for both ACDelco and Timken

I have seen them made both ways, depends on the manufacture. Either will work fine. I do prefer the style with the flange on it. You know its square when installed

I've used both. The one with the flange is easier to remove the next time. Not too much fluid should spill out.
