I like the Blazer and the black tow truck with air horns. BTW, the tow truck has 1970 Super Bee hood scoops on it.

I Love the twin spots on these!!!!!!!!!!! I'm I crazy? I want to put twin spots on my truck. I actually have the left one and bracket new in the box. Just have to get a right one and bracket.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 wrecker, fire, ambulance, etc?

I thought you'd never ask.... from 1990 to 1995, I owned Cowboy Towing in Stillwater OK. I sold it and its still going (although they have retired all the squares). My fleet consisted of a 1988 FI 454 w/a Holmes 175 bed, a 1982 Chevy 454 w/ a Century 442 bed and wheel lift, and my personal truck was a '73 350 w/ a Holmes 480 bed and an electric over hydraulic wheel lift. I made every call in the '73 up to 1995.

I have had 4 or 5 squares over the years, but these trucks sealed my love of them.

how similar is a homes 480 to a 475? my father drove a 78 k-30 with a 475, he always claimed it was a rare model and not many made, and overkill for a 1ton. they used it to haul huge motorhomes...wish i had picture of it, but heres some others from back in the day

i am not too familar w/ the 475. it may be rare. generally the Holmes numbers were
440 single line for 1 ton
480 twin line 1 ton
500 2 ton
600 2 ton
750 HD for a twin screw

Holmes 475 was their first small Hydraulic unit -single line....the 485 was the twin line ...the 480 was the traditional twin boom...the 475/485 were quickly replaced by the 1100/1200 series.
