Re: radio harness

In addition to the M&H #39578 radio power wire, you might also need the speaker wire & plug. I'm not sure if M&H (or anyone else) reproduces that or not.

The factory speaker wire used a section of black & green zip cord with one end soldered directly to the speaker terminals. The other end was terminated with a 3-terminal plug that fits directly into the back of the radio. Then the radio power wire has a single-terminal plug that fits into the back of the 3-terminal plug in sort of a piggyback arrangement.

Yes! That's it.

If that speaker harness isn't available new, I don't think it would be too difficult to refurbish a used one as long as the plastic shell of the 3-terminal connector and the special piggyback power terminal inside are in good condition. The other 2 terminals (for the speaker wires) are just regular Packard/Delphi 56 series terminals that are available new from a variety of sources.
