51 rolling chassis.. What's it worth?

I have 2, 51 pickup rolling chassis that I picked up with a project I took over. I'm not really sure exactly what I have but was told one has a posi rear and the other doesn't. Everything is is pretty good shape with just surface rust. My question is what is an original rolling chassis worth? I only need the one and could use the cash from the extra to get the parts I still need.

I have no idea but I've never seen a stock AD truck rear end with a posi.

That's what I thought. I'm not sure what the posi is off of then.

And Moderators.. I'm not trying to sell it just trying to figure out what I have.

I sell frames for scrap value typically cause not many people need or want them...my 1ton frame got $270 with engine/tranny at the scrapper though, so prob $150 rolling.

Yeah its not often that people go looking for a stock frame. I might go hunting for one this fall so I can build my chassis without haveing to have my truck blown apart all over the place. I'll keep driving her stock till the new one is ready.

That is the only way to build one of these AD trucks, just be sure the frame is straight and square before you start.

That is how I built my 53.

It sure keeps the noise down in the house by not having all those sheet metal parts laying around for a year or two, and takes up less much room.
