Vintage air folks come on in

Does the sure fit kit or any other vintage air kit for 67-72 cover the 45 degree angle coming off the trans tunnel on the firewall?

I'm looking to mount my ecu un that position but not sure it would be covered by the vintage box. anyone have any pics of this installed below the glove box?

Thank you

Here's where our Vintage Air unit is sitting, you can move it slightly more to the right if you need to.

Let me know if this is what you're looking for, I can get a couple other pictures if you need.

That is perfect. Just to the right of the trans tunnel as it flows out toward the floorboard, is there room right behind the vintage air unit? Or is it tight toward the firewall? Im thinking of mounting my ECU right on that angle

It's got a little room between it, but it's super close to where the hoses are coming in on our setup since we made up hoses with 45* fittings.

It might fit differently if you're using the premade hard lines that come with the kit.

Re: Vintage air folks come on in

I went out to my truck and measured my Delphi ECU. It,s 10” x 8” x 2.5”. I then looked at my Vintage Air Unit and measured that part of the firewall. If you are using a Delphi ECU it may be a tight fit. There is one spot on the left rear of the unit where there seems to only be about 1.5” of clearance. If you can move the unit to the right like zombii said, then it may work.

Couldn’t get pics worth a dang, hope this helps.
