MSD box tach issue

I've had an msd 6al box on my truck for 8yrs now and all of a sudden my tach is going screwy. Its an auto meter gauge and I have it hooked up to the tach out put on the 6al box. it worked fine til about a week ago. when I start the truck up its fine. once its warm the tach starts going screwy. Is my 6al box going or is it just the tach out put? anyone run into this issue?

Re: MSD box tach issue

Quite a bit of write ups on the same issue. Seems a tach filter may be necessary? https://www.google.com/search?domain...D%3A1%3B&hl=en Might try a known good tach and double check the ground wire.
