Drop my 69 front end
I just put new tries and wheels on my 69 c10. I love the way it looks but would like to drop the front end a inch or two. I would like to do it with new Springs. How do I know what to get? How does one know how saggy my Springs are now after 48 years?

Re: Drop my 69 front end
On the first question, This. http://www.earlyclassic.com/catalog....gory=Drop+Kits. I know this link is for kits, but if you choose the drop down menu, they show coil springs only as well. You will find exactly what you want there.
On the second one, there is really no way of telling. Last edited by Tom Vogel; 06-23-2017 at 06:17 AM. |

Re: Drop my 69 front end
What you can do is remove the front coils and cut 1/2 round off the bottom of the coil for approximately 1" drop or 1 full round for approx. 2" drop. You can cut it with a right angle grinder.

Re: Drop my 69 front end
You can pull your springs first, then ask a manufacturer to measure their springs so you can find the appropriate drop. Early Classic Enterprises has top notch support and usually go out of their way for customers. They also provide top quality suspension components.
