'67 stepside fender quuestion

Do these trucks use a fender welt on the rear fenders? I took my fenders off but its tough to tell anything since the PO painted everything on this truck. It looks like there are at least two layers of something where the bolts go.

My 67 doesn't and it's not listed in the parts book.

Re: '67 stepside fender quuestion

Thanks guys. I did grind off the paint and discovered what is there is metal, pitted but metal. I think it was the pitting that had me confused. I sanded them as flat as I could without getting crazy and hit it with POR-15. I will do the same on the bed sides.
