Fuel guage going nuts
Just got my 65 Sub running again, and when I started it, and while driving, the fuel guage needle is going nuts, fluttering back and forth. Could this be a ground issue? I had the tank out awhile back, and thought I got the ground wire tight. Any ideas? Thanks

Remember, these tanks are not baffled so movement of the gas inside will cause it to fluctuate back and forth, while driving.
If you are sitting still and it's doing it, it's likely a bad ground or sender wire connection.

Thanks. It does do it sitting still as well as driving. I'll check the ground wire and sender unit wire

I have found over the years that most electrical problems are 90% bad grounds and 10% bad, missing or incorrect wiring.

I'm thinking bad ground. It didn't do all the jumping around a few months ago before I dropped the tank.. Now all I have to do is correct the lights in my cluster and I'm good. Thanks for your help
