Qa1 install question

Have a question for those who installed their Qa1 coil overs. Prepping my frame for it before paint

In the rear… I know you remove the upper spring perches (circled in red) do you remove the other bracket there? (Circled in green) looks like a reinforcement bracket. Reason I ask is one side is already missing rivets. Do I need to remove, clean and reinstall with bolts? Or just remove? (Pics of the offending side also)

Re: Qa1 install question

I installed the QA1 on my 69 and the stiffner will stay in place with no problem. IIRC you do have to remove one rivet to remove the shock mount to remove it.(both left and right side) I did replace them with a grade 8 bolt.
