Re: Bear has nice taste

In the paper this morning a man was given a ticket for killing a bear who was being aggressive towards his dog. He fired his .22 to scare the bear but hit it by accident. It ran into the neighbor's yard and died.

Where did he expect the warning shot to go that he "accidentally" shot the bear? That's some pretty bad shooting, right there. And one helluva shot, if he killed a bear with a .22. I call BS on it being an accident.

How did the bear taste?

Heck, I can't hardly even get a .22 to kill a porcupine without shooting it eight or nine times. I just use the .30-30 now: DRT

I've never been shot but I have seen quite a few bears shot. None with a .22 -- it just doesn't seem too likely.

Re: Bear has nice taste

That bear must have had Covid-19

This article makes no mention of caliber of gun
https://www.registercitizen.com/news...o-15594317.php
Ok, this one does
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/li...cid=uxbndlbing

I guess getting shot in the eye could do it

Re: Bear has nice taste

Well, a .22 WMR might hit hard enough...or at least better than I was thinking at first, which is .22 LR.

Re: Bear has nice taste

Or ".22" might have been a .223 or a .22-250 ...?

Still pretty light but maybe it was a smallish bear

Re: Bear has nice taste

Had a guy i work with get killed dead as hell with a .22, standing on the porch at a frat party. Cool Camaro, I'd love to get back out there in a non-working capacity. It's so gorgeous. I'd have to have my wife with me, which would take all the fun out of the mountain roads.

Bears don't eat divorced women because they are too bitter.

I'd hate to see what the interior of that one looks like now -- and I'd hate to be the person who cleans that interior.
71 was Camaro's best in my book. GMs best year too, though I'm probably bias
