What is the best cab-to-frame gas tank conversion kit?

Thanks, Mike

In part depends on where you want to fill the tank from... and whether you are OK with the tank sitting a little below the frame rails... Lots of threads on this.

I can’t seem to find many threads on the fuel tank conversion. Can someone direct me to what I need to be putting in the search engine. I have a 1972 K10 with a Carbureted 6.0 liter LS3. Thanks!

Re: Gas Tank Conversion

Fuel tank upgrade, cab gas tank delete, moving gas tank from behind seat, Boyd fuel tank, Blazer gas tank replacement. That's a place to start anyway there are quite a few posts about it. Google deleted all my bookmarks so I am back to Square 1....I also went with Boyd fuel tank, made my own adapter for GM 93 Caprice fuel pump for my TBI conversion

Re: Gas Tank Conversion

I used a stock Blazer (31 gal) in my C-30. Moved the filler spout to center after install.

Re: Gas Tank Conversion

Re: Gas Tank Conversion

The blazer tanks have the spout towards the fender and some have the fuel door behind the marker light or in the bed. A 69 Camaro tank has the filler at the rear behind the license plate. The pics show the Boyd tank, all have advantages and disadvanteges
