OK, truck stalling when coming to a stop...

Was driving the rig yesterday, and was running real nice, so i hit the throttle a bit to open the engine up. Later on, as I came to a stop sign and applied the brakes, she stalled. Took a few minutes for her to start back up again, with the belts screaming as well. Still wanted to stall out, but I managed to keep the rpms up to get her in the driveway, didn't go too fast either. I was wondering if I flooded the engine or have some sort of fuel and air delivery problem. Thought it might be timing as well, because when she is idling, she feels like shes low....hard to tell without a tach...any ideas?

Needle and seat stuck in the carb?

Any black smoke out the exhaust?

Re: OK, truck stalling when coming to a stop...

My truck started doing that a few days ago, it stalled every time I put in the clutch. I still kept driving it just had to keep the RPMs up. A couple days later it died completely, I haven't had time to work on it much yet but so far all signs point towards the fuel pump.
