Looking for Repo hood supplier
Hello all looking for some help. I need to replace the original hood on my rig. The top of my original Hood is too wavy and I cannot put enough filler in it to make it smooth LOL. So.... I'm looking to buy a reproduction. who has had good luck with any reproduction suppliers? looking for one that fits good and is straight....
Thanks Eric |

Re: Looking for Repo hood supplier
I can't imagine there are more than 1 or 2 different manufacturers of hoods. All sold under a dozen names or more. I traded my repop cowl hood for a rusty stocker. (It was installed on my Burban when I bought it but the paper work showed it came from LMC) It was less work to do the rust repair than reshaping the hood. I would have to be very confident of a free return policy before I ever go with a repop hood or fenders. Plus there is no guarantee that the hood you receive won't be damaged by the shipper.
Good luck.

Re: Looking for Repo hood supplier
Good OEM hoods are fairly common on this site....I'd get one of those.
