That's what I have in my truck a 350 TBI and 5 speed, and it's honestly not that peppy and I'm trying to put a 350 Vortec in mine with a carb swap.

But compared to your 4.3 TBI going to a 5.7 TBI it would be a noticeable difference.

With the Vortec heads on the 350 TBI block though you would be at more than 210hp and 300trq.

There was a very limited production of 96 G30 vans that had a 350 TBI block with vortec heads with TBI as the fuel induction and they were rated at 235hp/340trq. If I remember correctly.
