Wilwood Front Brakes

I was thinking about buying the Wilwood Front Brake Kit (140-10775-D) for my 67 C10 however it states that you will need to use they CPP drop spindles. Has anyone bought this set-up and tried to install them on the ECE drop spindles? If not, which spindles did you use?

I reached out to ECE however I have not recieved any feedback...

Re: Wilwood Front Brakes

Just guessing here but since it shows 2" CPP drop spindles, I'd say that they are the CPP Modular spindles that take adapters for different brakes. The normal CPP spindles are 2.5" drop.

Re: Wilwood Front Brakes

I am willing to bet they will drop right on. I beleive the CPP spindles are a knock off of the ECE units. Call ECE dont email them.

Re: Wilwood Front Brakes

I loaned my truck to Wilwood so they could template for those new brakes front& rear! they had my truck for five days in their clean room. It was cool to see it in the tech room. In the long run I would never do that again. I paid the tow bill to and from Wilwood. and was promised a prototype kit but as we all know eaten bread is soon forgotten. And I got absolutely Zero. Wouldn't purchase their brakes if they were half price. Thanks Steve!! cheers, Pat
