02 duramax with A/c comp. Leak??

I have an 02 duramax CC 4x4 with a eratic leak at A/c comp. Has anyone experienced a small eratic leak of freon at rear of compressor Pop off protection valve? I am Fairly sure that is where the leak originates from as it will loose freon suddenly and the tracer that i have in system is directly behind the compressor! I have had gauges on it and the pressures are correct! I just purchased truck and have receipts from Prev. owner and it has never had any a/c parts put on it, just the old add a can treatment! Thanks!
I also thought it would be a to check oil in compressor as well! I doubt it has had any put in since problem originated 22k miles ago!

Re: 02 duramax with A/c comp. Leak??

I finally figured out the problem!! It was the high Psi. switch not cutting out the clutch!I replaced the switch, vac'd, and charged the system and have 38 Deg. air again!
