3 or 4 groove pitman arm

Good day all. Have a quick question that maybe the collective mind can help me with. I have an 05 Silverado Z-71 4wd Ext cab. My pitman arm is a little worn. When looking for a replacment I am given 2 options. A 3 groove or a 4 groove. I cannot see the grooves from under the truck. Just trying to see if there is any other way to identify which one I have with out tearing the truck apart. This is my daily. May try and remove the nut and see.

Thanks
Phil

Re: 3 or 4 groove pitman arm

Thanks for the reply. replaced it this weekend. It was a 4 groove arm. Not as bad as I thought it would be cause of the frame design.
