Thumbs up C 10 Nationals Maggie Valley NC

Who's going? Our local club has several going. It's a nice show and they have a bunch of classic vendors there in the past.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Yes awards are handed out on Saturday. A bunch are going up today. I'm taking the 2 trucks up Saturday morning early.
He has a bunch of vendors setup selling truck parts and old vintage signs and auto related stuff.

Several because there are so many C-10 not one show can handle them all. Plus some are to far to drive to.

I was wondering the same thing. Everybody seems to have a "national" event. It's ridiculous at this point.

They find a word to use to make it sound bigger and now that's the trend. The fact is, if a show is too far to drive to it is regional, not national. But I guess that doesn't pack enough punch, or maybe too honest for a promoter? When are the C30, C20, K5, K10, and K20 Nationals? Is there a show for GMCs, like a C1500 National anywhere?

All said and done after maybe a better name, I bet the show was pretty good like the old show at Maggie Valley, even with another Nationals across Tennessee the same weekend (in the same region)

I got the ramp & 71 truck ready for the ride to Maggie Valley tomorrow, Wish me luck... the ramp has never gone on this far of a trip.
Got all the bikes loaded. I picked up another chopper Tuesday and a fat tire Mongoose today with 7 speed which later on this year will swap over to my chopper!

I'd like to see the car and truck shows go back to the way they used to be , 1 winner with a check for $500.00 or a $1,000.00 , They could probably still do it that way if they stopped giving away participation trophies .

I wanted to make it out this year, but I had a new blessing come about a week ago. And as far as trophies go, I’ll never be able to spend enough on my truck to compete with a lot of guys. Trophies don’t mean squat. It’s about comradare and spending time with family.

Chuckles, 72Bluz RIP, invited me to join him at Maggie Valley one year and I really regret not making that show.
I think I'd really like to make the Nashville one some time.

The show was over 150 C-10's are at least that's what I herd anyway!

National has nothing to do with driving time. I don't think the promoter cares how far you have to drive. I think it's jut a name that draws people.
I'm glad there are several shows this way I don't have to drive for a whole day to get there and spend a fortune to go.
The swap meet was good also.
Ole red done good but the ramp had more conversation's with folks but the judges didn't like it I guess, which it's not really a C 10!

We were discussing the 2 shows yesterday at Nashville and quite a few agreed we would support both shows if they were different weekends . There were 501 trucks at the Nashville Show .
