RESTORING FIBERGLASS HICKEY ROOF RACK (West Systems Epoxy)

Ok,

So i have been in the process of restoring a hickey roof rack that was broken in half with the west systems epoxy system. I am now to the point where i would like to start finish sanding to prep it for gel coat. my question is, does anyone know if i am able to use a fiberglass filler such as evercoat to help fill imperfections over the epoxy resin and the gel coat? any help would be greatly appreciated!
