Bulb Change on HVAC Control

I need to change the bulb on my HVAC control in my truck that has factory A/C. The bulb beside the fan switch is a real bear to get at so my question is, if I remove the two screws that hold the HVAC Control in place can I pull it forward enough so I can get at the bulb. There must be someone on here that has ran into this bulb change .

Re: Bulb Change on HVAC Control

It's been a long time for me since I pulled one, but I believe it will only come out from the bottom, not threw the opening. You should be able to grab the two bulbs from either side of the assembly, they are a pull socket.

Re: Bulb Change on HVAC Control

It gave me enough room to pull the unit out from under and work on the fan switch and bulb . So yes pull the 2 screws and push the unit in and down to gain access

Thumbs up Re: Bulb Change on HVAC Control

I've never had a problem with them. They are angled in so they are not bad at all to me to get out are in without pulling it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Ditto, I've never had to pull the unit out to change bulb
