Anyone familiar with the protective plastic sheeting put onto front ends?
Cinder and salt impacts are a big deal in WV and my daily driver keeps racking up damage during winter. I once saw a VW Jetta with transparent plastic sheet applied to the hood and front of fenders.
Is anyone familiar with that? |

3m mylar tape Very good for flat areas like the painted bumper on my truck. I had it put on by the glass shop in town. Two years no problems.

yup look into #M for that, most tint shops offer this, it can be applied anywhere on the veh. most have it in the nose area like a car bra. some women put it around their door handle so those long nails of theirs don't scratch the clear and places like yours put it at the footwell area ( bottom of the door area where you get in) due to mud and debris on the shoes scraping the paint as you get in the car
