Re: The Color of Money

Great lookin' truck Geoff. Thanks for sending me the pics earlier. I think I'm going to paint mine that color instead of my factory med. olive. But I'll have side markers and the upper chrome w/white top. So it won't a twin. LOL.

Thanks truknut. Looks like there's a few that are taken with this color. bad6772 says he has the paint already but his is a longbox so it will be a little different as well. Can't wait to see yours with the white top. It should look great.

I will be doing a leather interior this winter... Seat, door panels, headliner, behind the seat, kick panels with speakers, etc. My plan is to do a light to medium tan with black accents. I did a bit of a temporary thing for the remainder of this season - painted the factory door panels and found a custom-fit seat cover that looked pretty good. Here are some pics.

Re: The Color of Money

Seriously though, that has to be one of the cleanest /nicest trucks I've seen. I hope my turns out something like that when I get done, or if I get done.

Congrats on a job well done

Re: The Color of Money

Thanks guys. I wanted to build something that was super "clean" so a lot of time went into the engine compartment and other areas to hide things. When I first bought the truck I never expected for a minute that I would take it as far as I did but overall I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Can't wait to see those pics bad6772. That silver mist pearl you mixed in should really make the color "pop" in the sun.

Very nice truck!! I gotta ask what is the foil backed stuff in the heater box in the cab?? And what did the steering wheel come off of ??
