07 low oil pressure issue

I recently picked up a Diablosport intune for my truck. And after I put on one of the pre canned tunes I started getting the low oil reading on the gauge. I had this problem a few weeks ago and I replaced the sensor on the back of the engine and haven't had a problem until now. Could the new tune be causing this or do I really need to change that sensor again? Or could it be something worse?

Edit- it's the 5.3

Did you change the screen when you changed the sending unit? It's common for them to get plugged up.

No I didnt. I'll try that out next, I just found it weird that it started doing this right after I put a tune on it

It's not hybrid is it? I dunno if you can even tune them, but the hybrid has two OPS, one under the intake and it will give you the same message as your described. But I'd do like 95 s trucker suggested and check that screen, and if possible stick a mechanical gauge on it just to verify.

OK so I put it back to the stock settings and the oil pressure issue seems to be gone. Has anyone else had an issue with the pre installed tunes in the Diablo intune?

Re: 07 low oil pressure issue

Put a mechanical gauge and verify the actual pressure. Then post the results.

Re: 07 low oil pressure issue

It turned out to be the filter under the sensor, lesson learned replace both of those if you ever have an issue
