I need to get some air ride gauges put on my truck, but can't decide on what type to go with. It seems most people like the analog needle gauges. My concerns with them is that there are more fittings and airline to run that may give more places to get a leak and that you cant read the pressure very accurately on those gauges since it only reads in 5 or 10 psi increments depending on what brand. I like the Dakota digital gauges, but can't find much information on them and they're a lot more expensive. I want to see what everyone else has used and what they like the best.

Digital = electronic (sending units + supply & electrical connections) = less simplified = more precise.

Analog = manual = supply connections + basic lighting) = simple = less precision.

I'd do analog w/a basic system.... Anything else, I'd do an AccuAir system.

Sounds like I may go with analog gauges then, I have a pretty basic setup. Do most people find analog to be precise enough to get the truck pretty level and able to make adjustments on the fly?

I had 2 dual needle gauges. They do a good job of telling you what the pressure is, like any good gauge should. But you won't be able to tell from a gauge how level you are. Maybe set it, get out and look, have someone else look, then you will know what is "should" look like at those gauge readings.

Most guys will run the analog gauges, and would recommend the 160 PSI gauges as the increments might be easier to read. Here is a link to a few different styles. We also carry the Dakota Digital too.
