Angry temp gauge

My temp gauge still is pegged out. I replaced the wire and put a new sending unit in. If it is grounded it must be under the dash, but that seems odd. any help?

test light on unit will tell you if its faulty when cold, or sohudl anyways, or you can put test light on the wire and see if its providing a ground source, and if it is then it means its stil grounded somewhere, pegged top the right is grounded wire fault
