Shoulder belt swap from S10
I was looking into getting shoulder belts for my 67 C10. I heard from someone that certain year S10 pickups will swap right in and are better then going the aftermarket route. Does anyone know which years Chevy S10 I should start searching for? Also, if anyone has done this can you please send pictures.

Re: Shoulder belt swap from S10
I used late model truck seat & belts. I've used 2 sets out of late model trucks and both worked fine. I don't know how they will work with a factory seat because I swapped seats each time too!

Thanks Andy for the pics! Has anyone on this forum done a S10 seatbelt swap? If so what year S10 did you use?

Re: Shoulder belt swap from S10
Bearing in mind that when not in use these are pretty much hidden, I don't think the aftermarket route looks all that bad.
Again, I don't leave them out like this, just so you can see them.

Re: Shoulder belt swap from S10
See my post posts in this thread starting with #5. There's pics and info where I got them.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ight=seat+belt I've used the S10 belts before. The ones I used were from a 1st gen (square) S10. They're so old now I wouldn't really want to use them anyway. I've used 1st gen S10 and ones from a 73-87 GM truck, as well as aftermarket. I just put a new set of aftermarket in the truck (thread above). Pretty happy with them, and they're new.
