Re: Albequerque NM
Been in Albuquerque since Friday. Slept Friday away after driving all night. Saturday morning I went 25 miles to a swap meet in Los Lunas & met members Michael Bustamante and Mark (forget Marks board name !)
Saturday afternoon I visited Deadhead Chev/GMC Trucks and Parts Dept. Owner Pete showed me some classic/classy Blazers and trucks on the showroom floor as well as volumes of NOS and excellent used parts for our trucks. Pete even took me on a cruise in his Hugger Orange & White 3/4 Ton 4x4. I will make him an offer on that truck when I win the lottery ! We cruised around and found several trucks in a very short time. They seem to be all around Albuquerque. After enjoying Pete's hospitality and meeting his wife & adorable 9 month old daughter (made me a little homesick for my granddaughters), I left to search out any treasures I might find during my stay in Albuquerque. It was good to meet fellow board members that I have known from the board for quite some time. |
