new member 72 gmc oregon

Hi all my name is steve i have been lurking on this forum for quite some time now and figured i would join and post up my project. its about 80% done now but better late than never. Its a 72 gmc sierra grande my dad gave me this truck for a project about 2 years ago. It was originally a lwb and i cut it to a swb my plans with it are street strip truck it will see alot more strip time than anything though. Here is a few pictures i have tons of pics throughout the build any questions just ask i love these trucks and this forum has tons of them. This forum is great i have used alot of info from it and it has helped my truck get where it is today. I will upload some more updated pics soon .

Thanks. Some goodies on the truck are as follow

engine

383 with eagle rotating assembly
dart shp 64cc aluminum heads about 10.8:1 in this engine
erson hydraulic roller camshaft and lifter kit 250/258@.50 108lsa 584/584 with
1.6 rocker
srp flat tops
comp cams 1.6 roller rockers
all ARP hardware
victor jr intake
holley 750 dp
engine was built with a 500 or more flywheel horsepower goal should be there with this setup.

trans

hughes th350
yank 3600 stall

rear

ford 9"
moser axles
4.56 gears with a spool
competition engineering ladder bar kit
qa1 coilovers
weld draglite wheels 15x12 31x16x15 sportsman s/r's
drum brakes for now will convert to disc soon

front wheels are weld draglites 15x6 215/75/15 tire

Still need to finish my interior, do front brakes, ball joints etc.... and a few odds and ends to clean everything up but im close.
