06 Silverado leveling kit

Ok I am sure this subject has been beat to death on hear but I am new to this site. I have a 06 Silverado 1500 crew cab 4x4 Z71 with 77,000 miles awesome truck except for its nose diving stance. I don't won't to go with a full blown lift kit I just want to level it out and i know from past esperance from my younger days that when you go cranking on those keys you get a stiff ride and eminent front axel and suspension failure. Has anything changed since the 90's is there any thing you can do to to raise the front level with the back on this 06 with out compromising the ride quality and front suspension reliability ? Any advice and pictures you can share will be much appreciated.

Re: 06 Silverado leveling kit

Your only real option without going full lift kit is to tighten the torsion bars, replace the torsion bars, or replace the pork chops or some combination there in.

Here is a link to my tread on my truck when I leveled it. It has some good information and a link to an excellent write up on GM torsion bars. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...7&postcount=10
