That's awesome. Keep it forever. You will always remember your grandpa every time you look at it.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part III

Swapped brakes, went 5 lug, new axles, wheels, etc. Had to replace starter, balancer, flexplate and carb. Also new shocks, drop coils, and temp gauge (in cluster). Next group of parts ready to install are tilt column, steering wheel, trans lock up kit (700R4), carpet, gas tank cover/carpet, stereo, create a console, trans cooler, horns, fan shroud.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part III

I recently inherited my father's 67 longbed stepside. My father-in-law and I got her running like a champ last sunday and made some temporary brake lines in order to limp her down to his shop. I'm fortunate to be able to work on it in a professional garage and I'm even more excited to get this truck back on the road.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part III

Some sweet rides in there! My black beauty needs a lot of sheetmetal work. Slowly upgrading everything and continuing to drive it. Next upgrades, New Engine(350HO), Tranny(BowtieOverdrives (700R4), Tilt Column Shift, Boyds Under Bed Fuel tank, Posi Rearend(373's). Then someday will tear it down and try to knock out the weld work.

My 67 and my Slash 4x4

Looks awfully nice to me especially leaving the stock side trim really adds the classic look- nice ride a keeper!
