Hey when switching to a S10 frame do you still have to use a S10 V8 conversion kit to mount the v8 or can you use the V8 motor mounts ??? also how about the transmission cross member will the S10 work???

Those are good questions.I haven't done the swap,I am just thinking about it.I would say you will still need the S10 mounts,or you can fab some yourself, not sure about the xmember.
I will have to look into this one

You would probally still have to buy the engine mounts for a s10. The transmission crossmember may could be used, I dont know. Dont know if you would have to change the whole crossmember or if you could buy some type of "adapter" rubber mount that would make it sit right for the v8.
