Bedside wheel well to inside tire clearance

Can anyone tell me the clearance between the inside of the rear tire to the wheel well?

Depends on tire, wheel backspacing, and how low the truck sits.

35x12.50r16, 4" backspace, truck is lifted approximately 6". Currently I have maybe 1/2" gap, trying to see if I should mini tub the truck.

8" rims? When I had 8" rims on my truck I had rubbing issues that 10" rims eliminate a lot of that. I ran 35 14.5 MT's on I have 4" lift with 35 12.5 16.5 on 16.5x9.75 with 4.5" backspace and have no issues.
